Antarctica's wildlife is diverse and unique. It is the only continent on Earth which has no terrestrial mammals, but is home to a range of marine wildlife and birds. Leopard seals use their powerful jaws and long teeth to kill smaller seals, fish, and squid. Scientists believe that seals use a type of sonar, very much like dolphins, to locate prey.
